Nipples, knuckles and nuts.
Some of the little known terms in lighting manufacture.
I found myself biting down on my lip (hard) during a visit to the factory to look at the final assembly of parts for Anatomy’s first series of lighting. But being the the consummate professional, i figured this was not the time to open my potty mouth. So we finalised all the basic details – the chord grip type, the flex colour, the switch detail, the shade finish. And yes, we did discuss the nipple detail, the nut colour/finish and the knuckle position.
Apart from my obvious immaturity, the whole project seems to be going pretty smoothly.
Next step, final quote.
Then first order.
